I mean, am I the only person who thought, when that prophecy was first mentioned, that it was going to be Danny Rand taking on the Phoenix? It’s like they chose the dragon because it was “cool.” Not because it served the story or the characters. Instead, Danny gets swatted aside like he were nothing, whereas before when the Phoenix attacked him, he was protected by his power. And then bring out the dragon all majestically, and have it shot down and almost killed on the same page? That’s just silly. Why bring it out at all then? It was all just pointless.
