ngl, I was endlessly annoyed that Black Widow was supposedly Russian, yet didn’t pronounce Budapest correctly.

Come on now, if she’d have pronounced it properly no one would have known what she was talking about.  We speak American in America and don’t know what “Budapesht” is.  That is not in the dictionary of the language of Freedom.

She was just being considerate you guys.

… I was actually just thinking about this in the shower this morning. Not a single ‘murican would have known she was talking about Budapest if she has pronounced it properly…

I would have known D: but that’s because my dad’s family is VERY Hungarian/Rrom, so. :3

I’m assuming that they also ignored the fact that BW is a former Soviet spy amd Hawkeye is a former supervillain.

I’m just here for the shawarma.

I wouldn’t call Hawkeye a “super” villain. But I always thought it was cool that in the movie he had a villain streak, sort of honoring his origins.
